Nusik (Failure)

Nothing says ~college~ like starting a company that you think is  the greatest idea in the world when it actually isn't. Receiving seed funding from VenturePact, I worked with a team of 5 developers based in India to build a minimum viable product. The minimum viable product was hardly viable. I didn't have the experience, dedication, or skill-set needed to create something impactful. I was unable to successfully convey my idea to the team of developers, and unable to build a team that would allow the idea to thrive. I learned that having a good idea isn't enough; you need to have the correct group of people with the proper skill-set and industry experience to make something impactful and sustainable. You can see some mock-ups I made in 2013 in beautiful comic sans below.
